Asian Student Conference
About
ASC is a cultural-based organization aimed to unite Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) students of differing heritages and encourage them to be the change agents through the use of their strong voices and thoughts to educate others of these cultures.

ASC strives to foster college students participation with respect to the following goals:
1. To unite college Asian-Americans and/or students of Asian culture interests.
2. To develop leadership skills among our members.
3. To educate and participate in the education and celebration of the Asian heritage.

Asian Student Conference serves as the Agency organization under the jurisdiction of Wichita State University Student Government Association and Student Engagement and Belonging. The Wichita State University organizations in the ASC Agency include: Vietnamese Student Association, Thai Lao Cambodian Association, Japanese Cultural Association, Associated Malaysian Students of Wichita, Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority Inc., and Chi Sigma Tau National Fraternity Inc. These organizations are designated to ASC by SGA and SEB. ASC holds a responsibility to support these organizations through collaboration, attendance, and finances. Collaboration and involvement among these organizations should serve the purpose of supporting the ASC purpose statement.
